You may want to consider returning to the US in a derivative E-2 status (based on your wife’s approved E-2 status) that would enable you to obtain an employment card. Also, if you are coming to the US for business in B-1 status and your priority date becomes current at that time, you would be able to adjust your status in the US. However, if you come on the visa waiver program, you would not be able to adjust within the US, you would need to consular process.

노동허가서를 받으실수 있는(부인께서 승인받은 E-2비자에 기초해서) E-2관련 파생비자로 미국에 오시는 편이 낳을 것 같습니다. 또한, B-1신분으로 비지니스상으로 미국에 오시려면 그때쯤에 현행의 우선일자가 됍니다.
그러나, 비자면제 프로그램으로 오시면, 미국에서 신분변경을 할 수 없고, 영사관업무처리를 하셔야 합니다.
