If the case is settled as you indicated, the parties must have a settlement agreement in writing that requires your signature. The settlement agreement should have spelled out the content of terms and conditions including the amount of settlement.

You should request a copy of settlement agreement if you have not done. If the attorney tells you that he does not have a settlement agreement, ask him when you can expect to receive the settlement agreement to sign the settlement agreement.
