Public intoxication은 misdemeanor가 될수도 있습니다. 그러나 경찰서에서 crime으로 charge를 안하고 그냥 풀어 주었으면, 문제가 될 것은 없습니다. 나중에 USCIS한테 arrest는 됐지만 charge는 안됐다는 사실은 증거를 내야 합니다.
Under California Penal Code 647(f), the definition of public intoxication is when a person is found in any public place under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or a controlled substance, and is in a condition where he or she is unable to exercise care for his or her own safety or the safety of others. Public intoxication is also when a person is in a public place while under the influence, and that person interferes with or obstructs or prevents the free use of any street, sidewalk, or other public way.
