Generally speaking, most people with .07 do not get charged with dui. However, I've seen as low as .04 in my practice. Chances are you will be able to have your case either dismissed or at least reduceds to reckless driving. It depends which court you are going to.
The problem you may face is that you must make restitution to the other vehicle.
As for hiring an attorney, it is always best that you do. Of course it isn't cheap, but in most cases, you will get your money's worth.
