Depending on the area you are in the outcome can vary quiet a bit. Also, the degree of injury matters. It could be as minimal as a standard 1st time DUI with perhaps some extra caltrans work or as bad as 60-90 days jail.
As for bail, they could release you OR or set between $5,000 to $20,000 or so. If you pay the bail, the court will automatically continue the case for about 30-45 days.
