안녕하세요?

코로나로 인한 실업수당에 대한 질문입니다.

서류미비자이며 소셜번호로 오랫동안 세금보고를 해 왔습니다.

두가지 질문입니다.

1. 서류미비자로서 소셜번호로 세금보고 했는데, 실업수당 신청이 가능한지..

2. 서로미비자로서 실업수당 신청을 했을 때, 후에 영주권 받는데 지장은 없는지..

I’m not a US citizen. Can I collect UI benefits?

To collect UI benefits, you must show that you were in satisfactory immigration status and authorized to work in the United States when earning the wages you used to establish your claim.

You must also give proof that you are currently in satisfactory immigration status, and are authorized to work each week that you claim benefits.

Note: The EDD verifies immigration status and work authorization through the Department of Homeland Security.

고용 개발부 (EDD)는 서류 미비 근로자가 합법적으로 근로 자격이 없기(not legally eligible for work) 때문에
“일할 수있는” both “able to work” and “available for work” 사람이 아니라고 결정함에 따라서
서류 미비 근로자는 일반적으로 실업 보험을 징수 할 수 없습니다.

Alien Registration Number (if you are not a US citizen) 시민권자가 아닐경우 영주권 넘버가 요구되며,
“able to work” and “available for work” 주간 (weekly) 잡(Job) 서치 certify 로 혜택이 결정이 되고 하는 이유이기도 합니다.
