Post Office에서 저의 passport 관련서류와 함께 두아이 서류를와 제적등본원본과 카피본을 보여주어 접수를 한뒤 저의 passport과 certificate of citizenship은 도착했지만, 아이들의 passports 에 대해서는 각각 두장의 서류만이 도착하게 되었습니다.
제적등본 원본과 번역하여 공증한 것을 함께 보여주니.. 그들이 Post Office 에서는 별 특별한 애기없이 서류들을 카피하여 접수를 받았는데...
정확한 준비요령과 지침을 부탁드립니다.
또한, 재적등본 원본은 돌려받을 수 없다면 사본으로 준비해도 되는지? (물론 certified 가 되야겠지요. 두명이니 두장을 준비 되어야 겠지요).
편지내용 입니다:
Thank you for your recent passport application. If you have already obtained a certificate of Citizenship issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services(USCIS), Please submit this document to our office. If a certificate of citizenship has not obtained, Please submit the following:
. Your foreign birth certificate which shows the names of your parents.
if the birth record is not in English, please include a certified translation service. The translation must include the name, address, and telephone number of the organization or individual who translated the document. Note: All documents requested must be original or cerified.
. Evidence of legal admission to the United Sates for permanent residence such as your Permanent Resident Card/Green Card, foreign passport containing a I-551 Visa entry stamp: or documentation from USCIS verifying your legal entry. Note: All documents requested must be original or certifed.
. Your Parents' marriage certificate.
If the marriage certificate is not in English, Please include a certified translation of the document from an organization such as a foreign embassy, consulate or a translation service. The translation must include the name, address, and telephone number of the roganization or individual who translated the document. Note: All documents requested must be original or certified.
We appreciate your assistance in this matter so that we may continue processing your passport application . if we do not receive the requested information within 90 days from the date of this letter; or the information you submit is insufficient to establish your entitlement to a U.S. passport in accordance with the relevant provisions of Part 51, Title 22 of the Code of the Federal Regulations, your application will be denied and your evidence returned to you. By law.
질문 : 아이들의 출생증명서을 무엇으로 대체가능합니까. 제적등본이 가능한지요?
질문 : 모든 서류마다 certified를 해야하나요?
질문 : Green Card 만 있다면 기타 foreign passprot 등 불필요한 거지요?
