15일마다 페이하시는 것이 아니라 2주마다 페이하시는 건가요?
semimonthly일 경우 (15일마다) 아래 캘리포니아주 노동법 규정에서 보시듯이 1일과 15일사이에 일한 임금은 그날 26일까지는 페이하셔야 합니다.
그리고 16일과 말일사이에 일한 종업원 임금은 다음달 10일까지 지불하셔야 합니다.
그러나 이 경우처럼 2주마다 페이하실 (biweekly)일 경우 일한 마지막날로부터 7일내에 주셔야 합니다.
The employer must establish a regular payday and is required to post a notice that shows the day, time and location of payment.
Labor Code Section 207 Wages earned between the 1st and 15th days, inclusive, of any calendar month must be paid no later than the 26th day of the month during which the labor was performed, and wages earned between the 16th and last day of the month must be paid by the 10th day of the following month. Other payroll periods such as weekly, biweekly (every two weeks) must be paid within seven calendar days of the end of the payroll period within which the wages were earned. Labor Code Section 204
