"Request for Evidence Response Review
On August 24, 2000, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
Once a timely response to the request for evidence is received by USCIS, we review the evidence or information you submitted. If you submitted the requested evidence, we continue with the adjudication of your application or petition in light of the new evidence"

이것 좀 해석 부탁드립니다.
미주 중앙일보에 이민국 link 싸이트가 있어서 제 번호를 넣어 봤는데
이런 글이 나와서요. 거절되었다고 10년을 넘게 알고 있었는데...
제가 그 당시 이민 사기에 피해를 보았었고, 주소도 변호사 사무소로 되어 있어서 아무런 서류도 받지 못했었습니다.
지금은 서류 미비 상황인데 이것이 결정적인 변화를 가져올 수 있을런지요?

김유진 변호사 입니다.

추가서류요청에대한 서류를 검토중이라는 내용입니다.
이민국 사이트의 케이스 조회 업데이트가 안되어있는 경우가 많습니다.
결정적인 변화까지는 모르겠지만 245i 조항에 해당되어 불법체류신분이라도 영주권 취득요건만 갖추면 1,000불 벌금을 지불하고 미국내에서 영주권 취득은 가능하겠습니다.
