My boy friend is in the US military on the MAVNI program. He got approved in Feb. 2015. When can I get married w/ him & apply? Thx
hello- we are planning on getting married in the next month if possible. I'm just wondering when he will likely get his approval notice so I can apply as spouse of US citizen? thank you!!!

My counsel to all clients contemplating marriage remains unchanged accross the board: One shoujld never let US Immigration considerations be the primary factor in determining a marriage decision. Or to put it another way: Is it a quesion of IF we get married or WHEN we get married. HIs MAVNI service is not, I should think, dependent on his marital status.
